Surface Data Acquisition System

 

The ANTARES Log Acquisition and Data Interpretation System (ALADIN) is a highly sophisticated data acquisition system for a broad variety of commercially available logging tools. Extremely user friendly and with great versatility, the ALADIN provides a true multi-tasking logging environment.


Functionality, flexibility and versatility are generated by a wide range of optional peripheral equipment, which can be simply added as plug-and-play hardware modules:


line-control panel | perforation panel | well-head potential monitor | winch-man panel | external depth/speed display | plotters.


Graphical and numerical logging data presentation during acquisition on screen serves as “real time” feedback for quality control. ALADIN interfaces with all ANTARES logging instruments and a large number of instruments from other suppliers which allows for greater customer flexibility in tool-string configuration.


The software package used for data acquisition and processing within the ALADIN System is called GeoBase.

 

 

GeoBase Software

 

GeoBase is a modular software program for geophysical and geological data acquisition and processing running on Windows’ based personal computers. Complex functionality needed for even the most challenging logging jobs is provided by its design of a main module and various plug-and-play modules.

Standard software modules are available for

 

  • log acquisition | borehole seismic acquisition | data I/O | plotting, processing and editing.

New features are quickly implemented. New modules will be added as required. A standard data interface definition is available for integration of modules from other software suppliers.
