ANTARES logging instruments deliver high-quality measurements independent from the effects of borehole size, salinity, type of mud, and formation range. ANTARES provides logging instruments for open and cased holes with high-temperature and high-pressure conditions as well as for slim-hole applications.

The product range comprises the entire array of established logging instruments:

Instruments and products are continuously updated in order to adapt them to new and complex applications. ANTARES logging instruments have a wide range of combinability that allows for high-speed and efficient wireline logging.

The high-quality of our products is provided by meticulous testing under realistic high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.

 
 

Cable Head and Telemetry system

 

The ANTARES Digital Telemetry instruments have been designed to transmit multiple data sets from any of the ANTARES sensors at extremely fast data rates. The consistent use of uniform telemetry systems dependent only on varying hole diameters allows for high flexibility in tool string combinations. All telemetry systems can be combined with a Gamma Ray detector, CCL or Accelerometer.

Borehole Geometry

 

ANTARES Borehole Geometry instruments comprise Dipmeter, Acoustic Imaging tools, Caliper and Orientation tools. Those instruments deliver important data on formations and reservoir characterization, e.g. bedding planes, structures, fractures, bed thickness... .

Imaging

 

The possibilitiy of borehole imaging far exceeds traditional logging features. ANTARES Acoustic and Optical Borehole Imagers furnish information on the borehole surrounding formations such as bedding style, fractures, rock texture changes. Optical Borehole Imagers are inserted for casing inspection.

Borehole Seismic

 

ANTARES provides a VSP Vertical Seismic Profile Log with three geophones in

Casing inspection

 

The ANTARES casing inspection tools range from standard instruments like Temperature tool or Casing Collar Locator to high-precession Optical Imagers.

Cavity Sonar

 

ANTARES provides two types of Cavity Sonar:

  • Omnidirectional Sonar Caliper
  • High-Resolution Directional Sonar Caliper (DSC)

Recently, ANTARES successfully finished the development of the Directional Sonar Caliper Instrument. The DSC instrument has successfully passed numerous field-tests.

The Directional Sonar Caliper System creates full 3D-images of subsurface caverns. The technique of angular-resolved sonic distance measurements allows for highly accurate scanning of the caverns. Caverns may be filled with salt brine, diesel fuel and/or crude oil. The system allows measurement through three casing strings.
